Hi, I’m Jinseo Lee, a graphic designer and visual artist from South Korea, currently based in New York City. My practice sits at the intersection of play and precision, where type becomes image, text becomes material, and ideas turn into objects, spaces, and experiences. I’m drawn to the way design exists everywhere while its influence often goes unnoticed. Through typography, publication, identity, and spatial systems, I explore how design can shift the way everyday things are noticed, interpreted, and experienced.

I approach design as a methodology for inquiry and discovery. My work is concept-driven and playful, rooted in the joy of finding unexpected connections and inviting people to see familiar things from a different perspective. Alongside graphic design, I work through Drawing, Photography, Video, and Sculpture to experiment with materials, forms, and ways of seeing that expand my visual language. I’m especially interested in transforming everyday materials, gestures, and observations into tactile or immersive experiences. Through this process, I aim to create work that is thoughtful, engaging, and open-ended, leaving space for curiosity, interpretation, and discovery beyond the obvious.
